Setting & Stakes
West of Katy, the ceremony sat under oaks and the reception spread across a lawn. As the sun set, cell service thinned. The DJ needed stable links for music pulls and mic control, the photo booth needed to push galleries, and the coordinator relied on tablets to keep timing tight.
Design & Deployment
We scouted a small clearing for a clear sky view and ran a neat cable to the reception tent. Three access points created focused bubbles: DJ/AV by the dance floor, PhotoBooth, and Staff near service tables. Guest access stayed off; that’s how you keep music and mics first‑in‑line.
Operations
We tested playlists, walked mic range, and pushed a batch of images before guests arrived. Later, when a décor wall cast a new shadow, we shifted one AP to keep margins clean. The stream and mic held all night; the booth uploaded between songs, not hours later.
Outcome
The night ran without a single “hold on, the Wi‑Fi” moment. Isolating the three work lanes and declining guest access delivered exactly what was needed: great music, quick photos, and a calm team.
